After a family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family returned home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife and Monica Bellucci explains why filming Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was their experience. There are too many stories in this movie and not all of them are interesting enough for us to care.

He slips back into that striped suit as if he hadn’t been noticed. But the film comes alive (or becomes undead?) only in the last third of the film. That’s when the pace picks up and the laughs start flying fast.

The original Beetlejuice was perfection
