The series follows Catherine Ravenscroft, a TV documentary journalist who has built her career on exposing the wrongdoings of long-respected institutions. Gary Oldman was originally rumored to star, but Kevin Kline replaced him.

The series, a medium-length telephoto

Such a lens would fail to focus on intimate subjects, such as taking a selfie with Sasha or being in the bedroom with Catherine. It could easily be reduced to a two-hour film.

I approached the series thinking of a horror film, and it has very little to do with it, we have to face a drama

The sex scenes, I will say, are definitely too explicit and strong for a TV series, sometimes even too weak to understand what is happening. I am not an extremist, quite the opposite 😉, but I believe that sex should always be treated more lightly from a visual perspective, we all know how it works 😂.

I still think a film would be more appropriate

The story is well-written, the characters are well-developed and the acting is extremely exceptional, I also like the off-screen story, which is "poetic" and "introspection" directly touching the characters involved.
