Originally set up with CBS for a series commitment in 2020, it was canceled just before the first episode was filmed due to COVID. Now, it has been picked up by Netflix for a 10-episode first season based on Mickey Haller’s second book, “The Brass Verdict.” Mickey Haller has several cars, all with personalized California license plates with legal terms.

Very much worth watching

The personalized California license plates allow for a maximum of seven letters/numbers, but all of Mickey’s plates have at least eight. Mentioned in Shrine of Telly: Week 3 (2022).

A few plot twists, as is typical for this genre

The plot is perhaps a little predictable, but not the worse for it. I like the portrayal of the family and work dynamics.
