I really like this show
The opening sequence features several photographs and paintings, as well as Oklahoma landmarks, in the New York landscape: the Sioux Indian chief, the “Touch the Clouds” statue; he wears a War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (chest plate) attached to the Brooklyn Bridge Gold Digger statue atop the Statue of Liberty. There are several numbered “Avenues” in the Manhattan borough of New York; smaller numbered streets intersect.. On CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode 45.7 (2022).
A bit unbelievable, but mostly entertaining
The humor Stallone brings to the character (by the writers) smooths out the absurd details. Stallone gives a nuanced performance as a recently released monster from prison. Who is given the opportunity to move to a southwestern state and make money when the bosses come home.
A fish out of water
He makes the most of a situation he would rather be in. Maybe a shark in another ocean is more like him. He seems to be a fantastic addition to a storied and legendary career, one of Hollywood’s biggest box office hits of all time.
Stallone is in his element and delivers the goods
