Honestly, sometimes we need to enjoy a simple, cheesy love story and We Live in Time handles the cheesy elements pretty well

John Crowley creates a simple and predictable love story that is actually nothing special but still delivers a beautiful looking presentation with two strong performances from Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh.

With good music, simple dialogues and a good structure, the film still builds an emotional connection with the viewers as the chemistry and conversations between the two leads are good and watchable

Of course, due to the predictable style, the film’s pacing feels a little slow and certain elements can be sleepy, but overall, Crowley’s direction and Garfield and Pugh’s performances keep the film engaging.
