Never has the gap between my expectations and the actual impact of a film been so wide

The possibilities were so big with the casting of two of the greatest actors of our time – and even they couldn’t make the film have a soul.

Timeline forward and back provided an incomplete emotional journey, as there was no build up or roles to invest in

The lyrics and soundtrack were completely forgettable, despite Pugh and Garfield doing a great job with what was available to them.

Hopefully someone will cast the two together in a future film and give them a better chance to create a masterpiece

Both characters fell very flat and I felt very little emotional investment in them.I had such high hopes and was counting down the days for this movie , and I was very disappointed after leaving the screening.
