Eddie mentions that he and Venom have been together for a year. The first Venom movie takes place in 2018, so this movie takes place in 2019, 4 years before the Sphere is supposed to exist.. Venom: Eddie… Featured in The 7PM Project: Episode of 25 .October 2024 (2024).

However, the story and script are still as flat as ever

It’s truly impressive that Sony was able to create the most mediocre trilogy of all time with such an iconic character. On the entertainment front, Eddie and Venom continue to be a wonderfully entertaining duo. They’re basically on a road trip in this third movie, and it was relatively fun for the most part. The final act of the film was also quite an enjoyable CGI action fest with some emotional scenes.

Pointless characters that don’t add much

The narrative seems half-baked with the feeling that it’s a chain of random things happening. Jokes are thrown at you just to see which country. Rhys Ifans and Chiwetel Ejiofor’s characters could have been played by anyone, but they feel intentionally done because they knew fans knew them from other Marvel projects. The villain Knull looks great, but is only there to be teased for future projects.

It is the average final input

Overall, it’s better than the second movie, but on par with the first. Sony continues to disappoint with its universe and we all know Venom is coming back somehow. I’m worried about Spiderman 4 and I hope Sony doesn’t screw up the movie anyway.
